Shirley DaCosta is a dedicated and integral part of the Ace Education community, bringing nearly three decades of experience to the world of teaching and learning. A proud graduate of Seneca College, Shirley spent 27 years at ABC Montessori, where she wore many hats—administrator, supervisor, and beloved French teacher. Her passion for education and commitment to students have made her a trusted mentor and a guiding light for both families and colleagues alike.

But Shirley’s talents extend far beyond the classroom. She’s a crochet enthusiast who loves creating beautiful pieces by hand, a proud mom cheering on her two children as they begin their post-secondary journeys, and the daily walking buddy of her little fur baby, Ginger. Whether she’s teaching French verbs, picking up her crochet hook, or enjoying a quiet walk with Ginger, Shirley brings patience, care, and dedication to everything she does.
